Freeform pewter pendant necklace with embedded, faceted aquamarine and sterling silver snake chain

This one-of a kind freeform pewter pendant was made with recycled pewter. Once melted, a beautiful faceted blue topaz was embedded into the molten metal. After a bit of hammering and polishing, it was hung from a 24 inch sterling silver snake chain. The immediacy of the method created a pendant with harmonious shape, that feels remarkably good in the hand - almost like a worry stone.
